Cookies Policy

GeoRest Ltd. ("GeoRest", "Company" or "we") respects the privacy of the users of its "DelivApp" App ("User" or "you"), and is committed to protect the personal information that its Users share with it. We believe that you have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect and use.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

When you access or use the Web, GeoRest and/or our third party service providers may use industry-wide technologies such as "cookies" or other similar technologies, which store certain local information on your device ("Cookies"), which may enable, inter alia, automatic activation of certain features and make the User's experience and usage simpler, more relevant, convenient and effortless. Such information is locally stored on your device. GeoRest and/or our authorized third party service providers may access such information.

GeoRest and/or our authorized third party service providers may use both session cookies (which expire once you close the App) and persistent cookies (which stay on the User's device until he/she deletes them). Such Cookies included in the App may store non-personal information (such as the different pages viewed by a User within the App).

It is easy to prohibit and/or delete the Cookies, inter alia, via uninstalling the App from your device and/or through the Settings option of your device. Most platforms will allow you to erase cookies from your device, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. In order to erase or disable the Cookies you may use the settings option of your device or according to the specific instructions provided by the third party service provider's privacy policy and terms of use.

However, if you block or erase cookies, or change the settings of your browser, your experience may be limited. Third-party cookies usually store only Non-personal Information, such as the web pages you have visited, the duration of your browsing, etc. GeoRest does not control such third party service providers.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

We set one cookie of our own, delivapp_region, which stores nothing more than your choice of regional site. When you switch from our Israel site to the global site, this cookie remembers that choice for up to a year so we do not send you back. It contains no identifier and is not used for analytics or advertising, so it is set without consent as a strictly necessary cookie. You can delete it at any time using your browser settings, as described above.

Separately, when you first arrive at our home page we read the country associated with your IP address, as reported by our hosting provider, in order to offer you the regional site for your location. We use the country only to decide which page to show you at that moment. We do not store your IP address for this purpose and do not build a profile from it.

Analytics Cookies

With your consent, we use two analytics services to understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it. Both measure the same kinds of things — how many people visit, which pages they view, and how they move through the site — and we use the results in aggregate, for statistical purposes.

Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>. We operate it with Consent Mode and do not use it for advertising or ad personalization.

PostHog, provided by PostHog, Inc., sets a cookie named ph_<project-key>_posthog and stores the same information in your browser's local storage. We use PostHog's European infrastructure, so this data is processed in the EU. We do not enable its session recording feature, so your screen, mouse movements and keystrokes are never captured.

These analytics cookies are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner. If you decline, neither service is loaded at all — no cookies are stored and no analytics data is collected. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page: withdrawing takes effect immediately, without waiting for a page reload.
